The Challenge

Old Havana Café was opening its doors in late December 2025 with a strong product —but no community following and no online presence. They needed a website, social media strategy, and a system to engage potential customers digitally. The goal: build visibility, drive foot traffic, and create a connected online community before and after the grand opening.

The Approach

I built Old Havana Café’s digital presence from the ground up, managing every aspect of their online strategy and backend systems:

Website & SEO

  • Launched the website in October 2025, featuring menu details and email signup

  • Optimized for SEO and Google indexing to capture local search traffic

  • Grew website traffic to 6,500 monthly visitors

Social Media Management

  • Created and launched TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook accounts from zero

  • Developed a consistent posting cadence, established the brand voice, and managed community engagement

  • Grew Instagram to 592 followers, Facebook to 375, and TikTok engagement steadily rising

  • Responded to comments and DMs personally, turning online conversations into in-store visits

Email Marketing

  • Built an email subscriber list and send weekly newsletters to engage followers

  • Emails introduced specials, updates, and curated content aligned with the café’s brand

Content Strategy & Operations

  • Designed all social content, captions, and graphics

  • Set up systems the café now uses to maintain posting cadence and brand consistency

  • Used analytics to optimize content for engagement and in-store conversion

The Results

  • From scratch, Old Havana Café went live digitally with measurable impact:

    • Website traffic: 6,500 monthly visitors

    • Social media growth: Instagram 592 followers, Facebook 375, TikTok building steadily

    • High engagement: Comments and DMs frequently converted to in-store visits

    • Sales impact: Specials consistently sold out; grand opening fully booked

    • Community impact: Customers regularly mention seeing the café online before visiting

By combining strategy, operations, and creative execution, the café’s online presence became a reliable driver of awareness, foot traffic, and customer loyalty from day one.

The Takeaway

This project demonstrates the value of building a digital presence from scratch with a clear strategy, consistent execution, and operational systems. From website launch to social engagement and weekly email newsletters, Old Havana Café now has a fully connected, high-performing online presence—and that’s the kind of transformation I bring to every client.
